Mandrarossa 'Le Senie' Viognier 2023
The vineyards for this wine are located around Menfi on the south-western coast of Sicily. The vines are grown on south and south-east facing slopes at altitudes of 150-350 metres above sea level. The wine is yellow with golden hues. On the nose it has notes of ripe peaches and apricot. On the palate it is full and opulent, with fruity aromas, a delicate minerality and notes of bitter almond on the finish. Pairs beautifully with grilled swordfish or Sicilian-style seafood couscous.
