Axel Pauly Tres Naris Riesling Trocken 2024
Axel Pauly is one of the dynamic young stars of German wine. The family’s steeply sloping vineyard in Lieser. Here, the soil is predominantly blue slate, which is cool, seems to give more minerally wines. The vines are aged between 20-40 years old. Pale yellow in colour with hints of green, this an expressive Riesling that opens with aromas of star anise, blossoms, lemon and peach. The palate is full of fresh, invigorating acidity and a mineral character that lingers on the long finish.
