McHenry Hohnen Hazel's Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
From a single block at Hazel’s Vineyard, this 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is a pure and elegant expression of site, unfined, unfiltered, and gracefully composed. A wine of quiet power and age-worthy structure. Matured in underground cellars for 16 months before release. Dark fruit and a hint of dark chocolate on the palate with an earthy tobacco complexity with a savoury, almost umami character. Delicious now and will age nicely over the next 5-10 years.
