Lustau Solera Gran Reserva Brandy de Jerez
A very good value brandy from Lustau, the Solera Gran Reserva was matured in a Solera system for 15 years, in casks that previously held oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry for up to 50 years. Plenty going on here, with aromas of dark chocolate and plums, with hints of pepper, caramel, and liquorice. The PX cask character comes to the fore on the palate, with coffee, dark fruits, caramel, and raisins. A rich and long finish.
